Провів першу із серії важливих телефонних розмов – із Премʼєр-міністром Канади Джастіном Трюдо. Дякую за нещодавній візит до Києва, а Канаді й усім канадійцям – за постійну підтримку України.

Розповів про актуальну ситуацію на полі бою та поділився українськими оцінками спроби заколоту в Росії й впливу цієї ситуації на перебіг бойових дій.

Звернув увагу Прем’єр-міністра на загрозливу ситуацію, яку окупаційні війська створили на Запорізькій АЕС. Недостатня реакція світу на підрив Росією греблі Каховської ГЕС і спробу підриву дамби на Криворізькому водосховищі дає окупантам змогу готувати теракт із витоком радіації на ЗАЕС. Принципову реакцію партнери України повинні продемонструвати, зокрема, і на Вільнюському саміті НАТО.

I held the first of a series of important phone calls – with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. I’m grateful to him for his recent visit to Kyiv and to Canada and all Canadians for their continued support of Ukraine.

I spoke about the current situation on the battlefield and shared Ukrainian assessments of the attempted coup in Russia and its impact on the course of hostilities.

I drew the Prime Minister’s attention to the threatening situation created by the occupation troops at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. The world’s insufficient reaction to Russia’s blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam and the attempt to blow up the dam at the Kryvyi Rih reservoir allows the occupiers to prepare a terrorist attack with radiation leakage at the ZNPP. Ukraine’s partners must demonstrate a principled response, in particular at the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
